Air Mauritius vince il premio come migliore compagnia aerea dell'Oceano Indiano.
Air Mauritius, la compagnia aerea nazionale dell'isola di Mauritius ha ricevuto domenica sera a Londra il titolo di Migliore compagnia aerea dell'Oceano Indiano ai World Travel Awards. Il presidente del consiglio d'amministrazione della Air Mauritius in persona, Kamal Tapossea, che ha ricevuto il premio da Mr Graham Cooke, Presidente e fondatore del World Travel Award.

Per il terzo anno consecutivo, Air Mauritius si aggiudica il premio di Migliore Compagnia Aerea dell'Oceano Indiano. Tra i canditati della stessa categoria figuravano Air France,Sout African airways, Air Seychelles, Ar Madagasca e Air Austral.

Il Wall Street Journal paragona questi award agli "Oscar" per l'industria turistica mondiale. Il loro obiettivo è di alzare il livello dei servizi e inconraggiare uno standard elevato mondiale.
Air Mauritius è stata in competizione anche per il titolo "World Leading Airline" insieme a British Airways, Air New Zealand, American Airlines, Cathay Pacific Airways, Emirates, Etihad Airways, Lufthansa Airlines, Malaysia Airlines, Qantas Airways, Singapore Airlines, South African Airways, Swiss International Airways e Virgin Atlantic Airways.

Mr Manoj R.K. Ujoodha, CEO di Air Mauritius ha dichiarato che la compagnia aerea mauriziana è fiera di aver ricevuto questo premio.
